Promotes Equity and Access

UDL ensures that all students, regardless of their abilities or backgrounds, have equal access to learning opportunities. By offering multiple means of engagement, representation, and action/expression, UDL addresses the variability in how students learn and demonstrate their understanding.

Supports Diverse Learning Needs

UDL provides flexibility in teaching methods and assessments, which helps accommodate the diverse learning styles and needs of students. This approach is particularly beneficial for students with disabilities, English language learners, and those with varying academic strengths and weaknesses.
